Research Background

Dramatic changes in the telecommunications industry have been drived by many factors. The continuing and relentless need for more capacity in the network stimulates researchers to find new technologies. The need for communication at any time and any where requires the network with high mobility and ubiquity. Among the challenges in telecommunication areas, we focus on the following topics

• Real-time processing over the Internet
• E-commerce, e-Learning
• Multimedia data communications in wireless networks
• High speed optical wavelength-routed communication networks
